1. By Train

Shinjuku to Otsuki to Kawaguchi-ko

1. Take the JR Chuo Line from Shinjuku Station to Otsuki Station (approx. 1 hour).
   • Cost: ¥1,340 (covered by JR Pass).
2. Transfer to the Fujikyu Railway from Otsuki Station to Kawaguchi-ko Station (approx. 55 minutes).
   • Cost: ¥1,290 (not covered by JR Pass).

Direct Limited Express Trains

1. Take the Limited Express “Fuji Excursion” from Shinjuku Station to Kawaguchi-ko Station (approx. 2 hours).
   • Cost: ¥4,130 (one-way fare including reserved seat).

2. By Bus

Option 1: Highway Bus

1. Take the highway bus from Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal or Tokyo Station to Kawaguchi-ko Station (approx. 2 hours).
   • Cost: ¥2,000-2,200 (one-way).

Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba

• It’s a place with traditional housing strucutres. Entry fee is required.
• You get to have tea or eat Hoto (it’s like Udon but thick) there as well. Very pretty.
